BLACK FRIDAY MARKS BEGINNING OF HOLIDAY SHOPPING AT WESTFARMS

 

Mall-Wide Hours are Friday, 8 AM – 9 PM

Saturday 9 AM – 9 PM & Sunday, 11 AM – 7 PM

Farmington, CT/November 25, 2024 – Black Friday, the unofficial kick off to the holiday shopping season, starts with extended holiday shopping hours to begin the festive retail season. Westfarms, Connecticut’s premiere shopping center, will satisfy shopper appetites with an 8 AM opening on Friday, November 29th.  The festive weekend of shopping will feature exclusive retailer sales and special promotions.

A handful of stores will open beyond mall-wide hours on Black Friday and have earlier morning openings and late closings, including*:

  • Macy’s – Friday 6 AM – 11 PM
  • JCPenney – Friday 5 AM – 10 PM
  • Nordstrom – 9 AM – 9 PM
  • Jordan’s Furniture – 9 AM – 9 PM

*Additional store hours may vary for select interior mall stores starting at 6 AM.

 

“We are seeing Black Friday deals well in advance of what used to be a one-day shopping event,” says Elizabeth Ryan, Westfarms general manager.  “Stores are eager to capture sales before Black Friday by offering special sales and promotions early in the season. We are expecting to see these types of holiday savings expand into December at our retailers.”
