Custom Framer - Experienced framers preferably management level CPF. Top pay for the best custom framing professionals in our industry.
Custom Framer – Entry Level must have prior detail oriented experience working with your hands woodworking or craft tools and equipment.
Duties Include but not limited to:
Advanced Custom Framer: (Manchester location)
· Mat cutting on a Wizard Z1 CMC
. Fabric Mats, Liners and fillets
· Dry mounting and conservation mounting
· Cutting and joining wood and metal frames
· Shadowbox framing
. Needlework and textiles
. Sports Jerseys
· Ordering and receiving of materials and supplies
· Operation of cash register and POS Custom framing software
· Customer Service – telephone, in store pickups
· Assist with deliveries and installations
Framing Designer: (Manchester and West Hartford locations)
· Retail inside sales of Custom Framing and Art
· In store merchandising and displays
Possible additional duties
· Outside sales of Custom Framing and Art
· Marketing and promotion
· Online marketing and social media development and maintenance
· Special events
· Outside networking – Chamber of Commerce, special groups, community outreach
Requirements:
· At least 3 years experience in Custom Picture Framing
. CPF or MCPF certifications are a big plus
· Ability to collaborate with team members
· Attention to detail, a good sense of design and color
. Must demonstrate mastery in basic math including measuring, fractions, division
· Excellent attendance and work ethics
· Dependable and able to handle responsibility – self motivating
· Excellent verbal and written communications skills
· Excellent time management and organizational skills
· Computer Literate- comfortable using POS software
· Must be comfortable Standing most of the workday and able to lift 25 lbs
· Experience in Social Media marketing or photo shop is a plus
