Come create, come admire, come take a chance—and come celebrate the season while helping our community!
The 11th Annual West Hartford Festival of Trees, sponsored by First Church, West Hartford, has become a cherished holiday tradition and a highly successful fundraiser that supports local charities.We invite individuals, families, friends, businesses & organizations to create and donate an original decorated artificial Christmas tree, wreath, or wall hanging to the festival, or simply enjoy the event.
No two entries are alike—and that’s what makes the festival so much fun! Whether your design is traditional, whimsical, elegant, playful, or reflects your organization we ask that you use your discretion with elements, as this is a family event; for example: no violence or weapons, or political statements. We also collect gift cards to be included in the “Gift Card Presents”. Each present is a bundle of 10 to 18 gift cards redeemable to businesses in the area. Anyone can contribute to this separate item. Last year, we had enough gift cards to offer three “Gift Card Presents”!
Entry deadline for all is November 28, with setup/dropoff on November 29.
We expect more than 50 beautifully decorated entries and upwards of 4,000 visitors throughout the festival. Festival attendees can support the fundraiser by making a donation that includes a chance to win their favorite prizes and take something special home!• $1 for 1 ticket/chance
• $10 for 10 tickets/ chances
• $20 for 25 tickets/chances
• Gift Card Presents: $5 per ticket/chance

Fees/Admission
No entry fee to enter a tree, only responsible for all decorations etc. Admission to event is free. Only cost is if taking a chance on winning a tree, wreath, wall hanging, or gift cards.
