DESCRIPTION:Come create\, come admire\, come take a chance and come celebrate the season while helping our community!\nThe 11th Annual West Hartford Festival of Trees\, sponsored by First Church\, West Hartford\, has become a cherished holiday tradition and a highly successful fundraiser that supports local charities.\n\nWe invite individuals\, families\, friends\, businesses & organizations to create and donate an original decorated artificial Christmas tree\, wreath\, or wall hanging to the festival\, or simply enjoy the event.\n\n\n\nNo two entries are alike and that's what makes the festival so much fun! Whether your design is traditional\, whimsical\, elegant\, playful\, or reflects your organization we ask that you use your discretion with elements\, as this is a family event\; for example: no violence or weapons\, or political statements. Full set of rules on entry form.\n\n\n\nWe also collect gift cards to be included in the "Gift Card Presents". Each present is a bundle of 10 to 18 gift cards redeemable to businesses in the area. Anyone can contribute to this separate item. Last year\, we had enough gift cards to offer three "Gift Card Presents"! \n\n\n\nEntry deadline for all is November 28\, with setup/dropoff on November 29.\n\n\n\nWe expect more than 50 beautifully decorated entries and upwards of 4\,000 visitors throughout the festival. Every entry helps make a difference for our mission partners\, that include:   The Bridge Family Center   Hands on Hartford   Covenant to Care for Children   Interval House   Foodshare   Loaves and Fishes   Chrysalis Center/Freshplace   My Sister's Place   Habitat for Humanity   South Park Inn   House of Bread   The Village\n\nCome Enjoy the Festival!\n\nMark your calendar and join us on one or both festival days: Thursday during the West Hartford Holiday Stroll or Saturday if you prefer smaller crowds.\nAdmission is free to stroll through the festival and soak up the holiday vibe!\n\nWin Your Favorite!\nFestival attendees can support the fundraiser by making a donation that includes a chance to win their favorite prizes and take something special home!\n\n \n\n  $1 for 1 ticket/chance                  \n\n  $10 for 10 tickets/ chances\n\n  $20 for 25 tickets/chances\n\n  Gift Card Presents: $5 per ticket/chance\n\nCash\, check\, credit\, and debit cards are all welcome.
