About Us
Traprock Ridge Land Conservancy preserves open space in the towns of Bloomfield, East Granby, West Hartford and Windsor. With a regional approach and shared resources, our mission is to help our communities protect the environment, preserve local farms and connect residents with the outdoors from the ridgeline to the rivers.
Traprock Ridge Land Conservancy protects 45 properties covering 642 acres, including:
- Untouched forest and wetland areas, and critical meadow habitats
- Hiking trails and great locations to observe birds and other wildlife
- Four active farms
Events
Traprock Ridge Hiking Club at Northwest Park, Windsor
- 3-mile Valentine's Day hike with TRLC volunteer Dave Mogul at Northwest Park. We will enjoy donuts and hot cocoa after the hike.
