About Us

First Church of Christ Congregational stands at the center of community life in West Hartford. We are a church of the UCC, The United Church of Christ, and an Open and Affirming place of worship where all are welcome. We think worship should be fun and interesting with music to stir the spirit.... and our musical offerings extend beyond Sunday morning worship with evening chamber music, outdoor concerts in July and August, and more! Our John P. Webster Library is the go-to place for books and media related to sermons, Sunday School, social justice issues, and so much more! Visit us on Sunday mornings at 10, or during the week for book groups, art exhibits, family events, concerts, youth groups, Bible study and so much more... and don't miss the Festival of Trees in December!
