Position Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated, entrepreneurial Business Development Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying and engaging prospective clients, nurturing leads, and building lasting relationships to expand our customer base. You will leverage various sources, including targeted prospect lists, research, and personal networking, to drive new business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities

  • Proactively generate new business opportunities through telephone outreach, personal networking, and targeted communication efforts.
  • Identify and qualify potential clients within the target market, introducing them to our cost reduction services.
  • Conduct thorough research to develop prospect lists and follow up on leads to build strong, lasting relationships.
  • Drive opportunities through the sales funnel by consistently communicating with prospects and providing necessary follow-up.
Qualifications
  • 2-5 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related field.
  • Proven ability to establish meaningful initial connections that lead to long-term client relationships.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a track record of building a customer base from scratch.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, coupled with excellent customer service abilities.
  • Effective presentation and research skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Prior knowledge of telecommunications, merchant services, or shipping is preferred.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license and be willing to travel locally.
