TRLC Hiking Club Hike through Newgate Wildlife Management Area/Great Marsh Preserve

Please join us for this hike with TRLC President Amanda Thompson and Education Committee Member Dave Mogul.

This is a relatively flat, gently sloping 3-mile hike from Newgate Wildlife Management Area out past Newgate Pond to the Farmington Valley Greenway. From there we will walk into TRLC’s Great Marsh Property and back to Newgate Road. This should take about 2 – 2.5 hours depending on the group’s pace.

Please dress appropriately for the weather. Bug spray and water to drink are suggested. Dogs on leashes are permitted. Gentle rain is okay, but heavy rain will cancel the hike.
