FUN FOR THE WHOLE FAMILY! Join us at the Talcott Mountain Science Center for an upbeat and enlightening evening observing the night sky from the top of Talcott Mountain. Begin the evening with an assortment of fun, family-friendly, hands-on activities that explore rhythm and sound; and try your hand at drumming on the sundial with our special guest, Susan Strand, while enjoying a breathtaking view of the Farmington Valley. They'll be instruments to share and we encourage everyone to join in. No rhythm required! Afterwards, we'll move into the Captain Alan M. Bean Hypospherium for a tour of the celestial bodies that will be visible in the night sky. Then, when the skies have darkened, we'll head to our final skygazing destination atop Talcott Mountain. With a wide array of telescopes at our disposal, we'll be looking for stars, planets (including Mars and Jupiter) and other celestial gems. Tickets are $8 General Admission/$5 TMSC Members. Our last event sold out! RSVP early to reserve your seat. RSVP online below or call 860-677-8571.
