Polaris Awards Gala

The Polaris Awards gala is our annual signature fundraising event that recognizes ''guiding lights'' in our community. Each fall hundreds of diverse leaders from every sector in the Greater Hartford area come together to network, to celebrate and to be inspired by the unsung heroes who strengthen community leadership connections in our region. This year we are honoring four individuals who go above and beyond to inspire hope in our region, especially during these difficult and turbulent times. We can certainly feel more hopeful when we learn about Iran Nazario's courageous work to stem violence in Hartford, Ronit Shoham's generous and tireless volunteer commitments to children and others in need, and the creative ways that Cheryl and Jamie McDonald serve far more than great food in this community. Polaris event proceeds directly support Leadership Greater Hartford's important work to strengthen the local community by training and connecting aspiring and established leaders.
