Join us for a special evening celebrating the republication of William H. Hall’s History of West Hartford and the launch of the West Hartford Chamber Foundation.
Held in the historic chapel at Fairview Cemetery—a place William H. Hall helped establish and where he is buried—the evening will feature a panel discussion exploring West Hartford’s history, Hall’s legacy, the story behind the book’s republication, and the creation of the new Foundation.
The discussion will be moderated by Chuck Coursey, Chair of the West Hartford Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors, and feature:
- Chris Conway, President & CEO, West Hartford Chamber of Commerce
- Mary Donohue, West Hartford Town Historian
- Brett Freiburger, Local History Librarian, West Hartford Public Library
Together, the panelists will share stories and perspectives on West Hartford’s past, the significance of Hall’s work, and why preserving and sharing local history continues to matter today.
Tickets are $25 and include a copy of History of West Hartford. Additional copies will be available for purchase at the event, with proceeds supporting the West Hartford Chamber Foundation and its work to strengthen the economic, civic, cultural, and social well-being of the community.
Space is limited and pre-registration is required.
