February Programs at The Children's Museum

This Presidents’ Day holiday, and on special weekend days throughout February, join us at The Children’s Museum for your chance to engage in fun & educational activities with our educators!
 
We are fortunate to have the most dedicated, knowledgeable and talented educators on our team and are giving our guests the opportunity to learn first-hand from our incredible staff. For the Presidents’ Day holiday, Monday February 21 and Tuesday February 22, visitors can meet with paleontologist ‘Dino Dan’ O’Dea to learn about Dinosaurs and Fossils, attend a planetarium show, and ask questions of our resident astronomer, Ian Robinson.
 
Planetarium schedule for 2/21 and 2/22 will be The Sky Tonight, shown at 10:30 am, 1:00 pm, and 3:00 pm, all included with price of admission. In between shows, you will have the chance to visit our exhibit spaces and interact with our educators while learning more about astronomy, paleontology and amphibians. In honor of Steve Irwin’s birthday on February 22^nd animal demos will include our boa, opossum and cane toad.
 
Our special weekend days are Astronomy Day, Saturday February 12 (with Planetarium shows at 11:00 and 2:30 and included with admission); Fossil Day, February 20; Amphibian Day, February 27.
