Colorful Conversation - "Beyond the Demographics: Hispanic Contributions Driving Our Economy Then, Now, and Ahead"

The West Hartford Chamber's Minority Business Network is proud to present the next Colorful Conversation, “Beyond the Demographics: Hispanic Contributions Driving Our Economy Then, Now, and Ahead.”  In celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month, this session will bring together leaders from media, business, and community organizations to explore the economic, cultural, and workforce impact of the region’s growing Hispanic population.  The discussion will highlight data showing Hispanics’ vital role in Connecticut’s economy, while addressing challenges around trust, representation, and current events. Panelists will share actionable strategies for building authentic connections, supporting bilingual and Hispanic-owned businesses, and leveraging this vibrant, resilient community as a driving force for growth across New England.


Colorful Conversations is an ongoing panel discussion series designed to take a deep dive into issues that disproportionately impact minority populations.  We invite experts from across the country to educate the community on topics of interest, and propose solutions to the issues faced.  Past topics include Healthcare, Education, Access to Technology, and Employment.  The recordings are housed on the West Hartford Chamber’s YouTube channel.
