SUMMARY:Ribbon Cutting: Aviva Community Store
DESCRIPTION:Join us in celebrating the opening of The Vanderbilt Convenience Store at AVIVA West Hartford\, located in the heart of one of West Hartford's most historic neighborhoods. Inspired by the area's rich past where the Vanderbilt mansion once stood our store's name pays tribute to the legacy that surrounds us. As part of our commitment to enhancing the quality of life for our residents\, The Vanderbilt Convenience Store offers a thoughtfully stocked\, easily accessible shopping experience right within the comfort of home. This aligns with our mission to honor the history of our community while meeting the everyday needs of our residents is a meaningful way to blend the past with the present.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAbout the Aviva Community: \nPerched atop Hamilton Heights\, the iconic building at 1 Hamilton Heights Drive in West Hartford has a storied past. Originally constructed between 1905 and 1908\, it served as Mount St. Joseph Academy\, a Roman Catholic girls' school operated by the Sisters of Mercy\, until its closure in 1978. Recognized for its Colonial Revival architecture\, the building was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1983. \n\nToday\, this historic edifice houses Aviva West Hartford\, a senior living community offering independent living\, assisted living\, and memory care services. Embracing both its rich heritage and commitment to community engagement\, Aviva is proud to announce the opening of its new community store a space where history and modern living converge.\n\n\n\nContact Christiana Pitts for more info\, cpitts@avivaseniorliving.com
