DESCRIPTION:Early American Adventure Camp\n\nAges 8-12\n\n \n\nEarly American Adventure Camp is the Noah Webster House's full day camp\, offered in conjunction with West Hartford's Westmoor Park.\n\nThrough activities at both the Noah Webster House and Westmoor Park\, children experience first-hand the chores\, games and history of the past. This year\, each week offers a different theme and a new set of activities! Week One campers will learn about Piracy in the 1700s\, and Week Two campers will experience Early America Through The Seasons. By participating in seasonal chores\, foods\, and traditions\, campers will learn how daily life for families in the 1700s changed with the seasons.\n\n\n\nCamp is held at two different locations: Monday/Wednesday/Friday sessions will be held at the Noah Webster House\, 227 South Main Street. Tuesday and Thursday sessions will be held at Westmoor Park\, 119 Flagg Road.\n\nHours of camp are 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. An extended hour until 5:00 pm is available for $50/week.\n\nPrice: $290/per child per week for Museum Members*\n\n$325/per child per week for non-members\n\nNote: Museum Memberships start as low as $35. By purchasing a membership\, you can secure a camp spot for the same price as a non-member no extra cost for membership!
